Like all performers, I've been affected by the pandemic with cancelled tours and closing venues. We try to stay positive even when the future looks bleak. We find new ways to connect with the world.
Recently, my trio was supposed to perform some concerts in Poland, but of course we couldn't. The venue in Poznan wouldn't take "cancelled" for an answer. They decided we would stream our concert to Poland from Iceland, and in doing that created content that the whole world can experience. And so can you, right here.
The concert includes some new arrangements of Icelandic folk songs (which I previously recorded with Tony Malaby and Drew Gress) plus some brand new compositions.
